Missmom Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pm_NcC_9C70&feature=related Thank you for posting... I did a simple test today with giving my son few pieces of chocolate and within 5min noticed an increase in pandas symptoms. I will definitely store that away in the back of my mind from now on.
mar Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 This is really interesting. I keep my kids far away from candy. The only thing they have occasionally is ginger snaps and glee gum. But yes dd gets wired with sugar. It is definitely a different type of energy. I can totally tell by the look in her eyes and face. Can't try the chocolate since they both have milk allergies so the result my be conflicted. But dd shows sensitivities to cocoa. When dd has two many motts freeze pops that we get from Costco (thanks to the neighbor who thinks they are being nice b/c they have something she can have, but I give 1 or 2 on hot days and find out she had three more over there) she gets very emotional and wired. She keeps asking for more and when I say no hello tears and breakdown. She needs to be brought in at times to calm down. Thanks for the info! Mar
