probiotics

Hey all,

 

 

Looking for input on your best choices for probiotics. Nicholas takes his from Candida Wellness center. He tested positive for the acidofilus strain they carry but not the bifadoffilus strain. are there any brands you like over another out there? I read that some actually have the strep bacteria in them???

my son has always had odd reactivity to the probiotic supps, and so he uses primarily Lifeway natural Kefir as his source of probiotics.

It does not contain strep thermophilus

I like Align.

 

Some people have bad reactions to certain probiotics. I've read a lot about people taking the "Activia challenge" and experiencing gastrointestinal upset which ceases when they stop taking it. Read the reviews on Amazon for some of the different ones you're considering. Align is considered pretty good but doesn't agree with some people.

 

Align is expensive, but you may be able to get a sample from your doctor.

That's interesting. I have to use the probiotics now since Dr T said Nick is Pandas and we had to use the antibiotics .....I don't want the year to go crazy....
