Hello,

I was researching candida on google and on here and realized that it is a big problem for many of us with TS. I know that many people use Nystatin for this problem but I found this while searching for other supplements. It is called Now Candida Clear.. http://www.webvitamins.com/product.aspx?id...id=IN&term=osmx

Would this be an alternative to clearing up candida or should I seek a doctor for this.

Thanks

Hi Spartan

the ingredients in that NOW product look good....capryllic acid is very effective in candida eradication and black walnut is an all purpose parasite treatment, as is Oregano oil. Biotin has many health benefits.

Thanks for mentioning this product as I had not heard of it before.

Nystatin is a prescription drug, and although it has benefits, and I know many have used it to treat Candida with great success, yet I am always a little cautious of those synthetic chemicals <_<

I have also heard very positive reports on THREELAC, available online

Although by no means definitive, there is a "spit" test that can be an at home indicator of possible candida overgrowth

here is info on that

NOW Foods' Candida Clear is also available in Poland. I wonder if this is a new product or there is someone who has already some experience with it as I am considering buying it. In fact this is the only product I found here that contains caprylic acid.

I did the candida test this morning. Within about 15 seconds.. I a cloudly trail under the water. After a few minutes the trail was very long and moved with the water when I moved the cup. This is very good news to me and I am going to try the NOW Candida Clear. I am also going to try Chlorella for Mercury.

I am in the process of taking NOW candida clear along with a probiotic containing 4 billion live organisms. I am noticing that my spit is getting better and my face is also starting to improve (acne). I am having a problem with the diet though. Cutting out most carbs is making me feel drained and tired all of the time. Would eating any types of bread hurt me? I have Pepperidge Farm 100% Whole Wheat bread and was wondering if this is bad or If I should try and use the Whole Grain bread that they sell instead. Thanks

Hi Spartan

we were able to eat rice and whole grains while on our candida eradiction diet. We got very good pure rye and millet breads from our health store.. They were a bit more "solid" than regular breads (absence of bakers yeast) but very tasty, especially toasted

glad you are experiencing the benefits from the candida clear, but I do agree you need to maintain enough carbs for your overall health and energy. IMHO, rather totally cut the sugars and keep a small amount of the starches.
