MomWithOCDSon Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 I actually read this column to my DS14 . . . albeit with a few selected edits. But we both laughed out loud several times. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! OCD Kid for the Holiday

SSS Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 Ah, another 'not alone' moment. We were unable to leave our Christmas tree lights on for any extended period this season, dd was afraid they would burn out. But happy that was our only mild OCD bit for the holiday- God bless everyone!
LNN Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 Some of these very things were said at our house last night - not by DS, who remains reeally good - but by DD, who is dealing with "issues". Thanks for the smiles!

BoyIowa Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 We have fire worries in our house at least 3 times a week. He wants a fire safe to keep some of his favorite toys safe in.
philamom Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 So funny! I can relate to #1 - our Christmas tree fell over Tuesday! My daughter just got over the tree that fell in 2007. We spent hours looking for a brown Scooby Doo hand (size of a pencil point) on a brown rug, among many shattered ornaments. I later found it under the couch - almost vacuumed it because I thought it was a popcorn kernel
