Ozimum Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Thanks for posting. Gives a little hope, doesn't it.
LNN Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Very cool - would explain a piece of the complex puzzle. And had no idea CF was bacterial. Thanks!
911RN Posted November 21, 2011 Author Report Posted November 21, 2011 Very cool - would explain a piece of the complex puzzle. And had no idea CF was bacterial. Thanks! CF is not bacterial... it's childhood lung condition/disease that causes an accumulation of sticky, thick mucous in the lungs. These kids are very prone to recurrent pneumonia. That's what I think the picture was trying to illustrate- chronic, bacterial pneumonia in a CF patient. How the biofilm plays a role in recurrence and bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Not that CF is bacterial in origin like LD etc.
writergal Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Our Doctor has our son on Lauricidin to help get rid of the Biofilms. Lauricidin was discovered by Dr. Jon Kabara - it's considered safe - will not interact with your abx - helps them to work better.

This is the little white pellets of coconut oil, right? I heard this was used for anti-viral....
LNN Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Someone please tell me how you get lauriciden into their kids! Those waxy pellets - never could find a way to disguise them. Ended up tossing the whole jar.
