SSS Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Yes, my dd and I are both using these- she is on A-Bart, A-Bab, and A-L- I am on A-Bart and Bar-1 (both of mine for bartonella, Bar-1 is from beyond balance) and I am on antibiotics for Lyme. I can feel them- we are not near the full dose- I am up to 16 drops a day each, dd about 7-8 a day- divided 2 times a day, taken 5-10 minutes apart, I take mine in a shot glass with a little water. We are doing them with antibx.
SSS Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 By the way, if you are interested in buying/trying them, they are mostly sold through a practioner, however I know of an excellent online supplement retailer that does sell them, I could PM you- they run about $94. a bottle, but last a long time. keeptrying Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I did an herbal challenge with A Bab and A myco for my dd. She reacted to both with in 48 hrs. Her symptoms remained raised for a week or so but eventually came down when stopped. They are very powerful. My dd actually woke up early in am vomiting with low grade fever after the A Myco. Good news is that it gave our LLMD some very good feedback. Good luck.
LNN Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 My son used A-Bart for about 4 weeks - we never saw any change one way or the other. The reports on lymenet seem to be mixed. They either really work well or seem to do nothing. Seems to be highly individual. We used it prior to KPU diagnosis/treatment and we are now supplementing much more to support methylation. It's possible we could have a different response if we were to try again in a few months.
SSS Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Have you noticed a difference in your daughters pandas symptoms on them? *Hmm, well, when my daughter 'herxes', or herbs or antibiotics start killing off bacteria, releasing neurotoxins, it comes out as pandas- vocal ticcing, copralalia, OCD thoughts (asking the same questions over and over again, or a 3 day spell of fixated on a fear, the clothing OCD never leaves) lack of impulse control. My daughter is functional at school, does well, but her anxiety shows through there. It is at home it all comes out. And on the other hand, we can have hours of beautiful maturity at home, content, reading books. I find my daughter difficult to explain. She and I present very differently, with some similarity. Personally, my biggest gain so far from Lyme/bart treatment is a clearer mind. As for the drops, for me, I feel like they are helping clearing out 'gunk'. I believe my LLMD believes they are taping down the other infections in my dd.
MichaelTampa Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I have been using them, A-L, A-Bart, and A-Bab for Lyme, bartonella and babesia. I have also been using A-FNG for fungus/candida/yeast issues. I think they have been helping a lot but have not dealt any knockout blow (as nothing as to this point).
rowingmom Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 My DD10's LLMD switched her from rifampin for bartonella to A-Bart on Oct 12. My daughter seems to be at a point where her symptoms only show up in the evenings or when she is fatigued from physical exercise. I was given instructions to increase from 1 drop 3x daily to 10 drops 3x daily, increasing every two days. She was not showing much reaction and her symptom profile was remaining pretty constant until we reached 7 drops. 15 minutes after 7 drops in the am she developed shin pain, pick-like headache, pretty severe stomach pain and ticcing. I gave her a two day break after that and started back at 3 drops 2x daily, last week was 6 drops 2x daily, and today we have started 7 drops. For the last 5 days she has had no symptoms or ticcing, even in the evening or after running for an hour after her friends. Hope I am not jinxing things. She is still on biaxin for lyme.
