tpotter Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Thanks for sharing this. I'm definitely going to plan to watch it.
philamom Posted July 1, 2011 Author Report Posted July 1, 2011 For anyone who missed this, there will be a full transcript of the discussion posted at mcall.com/healthchat shortly.
KaraM Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 I tried to participate in the discussion, but they did not post my questions. Did that happen to anyone else? When the topic of co-infections came up I asked for their thoughts on Bartonella suppressing the immune system and possibly resulting in negative LYme results. I also asked if they knew of any studies connecting Bartonella and OCD. Maybe because I focused on Bartonella as opposed to Lyme, they didn't include my comments. Hmmmm.
philamom Posted July 1, 2011 Author Report Posted July 1, 2011 I'm sure there was an overwhelming amount of questions asked, and unfortunately, not enough time to address them. I wish they would have extended the discussion.
mama2alex Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Thanks for posting this! I read the transcript and it was interesting. Its hard to understand why Dr Zemel and the people at IDSA are so closed-minded. It doesn't seem to matter how much evidence ILADS presents or how many patients they help, the IDSA just isn't listening. Thank goodness for the brave and open-minded doctors who follow ILADS!
