Things to do this Summer?

My child has no friends and I am exhausted from playing mermaid with her. Are there any camps or programs in NJ for "kind of slow" children that you know of. She has a hard time with getting lost in large groups of children. Just can't keep up. Thanks

Have you checked your local park district? Ours offers two "catagories" for the summer. The summer camp, but also individual classes and sports that meet once or twice a week for maybe 4 weeks. I know the classes are smaller numbers of kids and consist age ranges.Your park district may have a wesbite you can search for to get info.

Hi Wilma,

I know your daughter is dealing with severe ocd so not sure this would work if she has contamination issues...but how about a pottery camp. My daughter is doing a couple of 9-12 weeks. Her class is for all ages and offers different themes each week.
