increase in aggressive behavior with increase in tics

Hi. Does any body else notice a distinct correlation between an increase in defiant and "hyper" behavior when your child is having a day with more tics? It seems to always go hand in hand with my son.

We definately have noticed there is a distinct moodiness and restlessness with our ds when tics are waxing. He is far more emotional and says he feels sad and frustrated and easily angered.
