FireFlysWay
I notice that most of the participants on this forum (80-90% ?) are parents of a TS child. I am certainly happy for them and glad that they are here, but where are the TS adults and, especially, TS teens? I wonder, Firefly.

BostonMike
Hi FFW, I am a 28 year old male dx with TS around the age of 6. I found your post on Carnosine very interesting as its one supplement I have never tried. In my 22+ years of TS I have tried every medication known to man (currently on 15mg Abilify) all with no luck. I have also experimented with all kinds of supplements also without much luck. So, I bought a bottle of Super Carnosine from the Life Extension Foundation and am going to give it a try. Is there a particular time of day you take it or does that not matter? Thanks, I look forward to hearing more about your progress and I will keep you up to date if I see any results. Mike
FireFlysWay
a lot of younger people like Duncan Mckinley's site http://lifesatwitch.com 9138 Thanks, Chemar. I checked it out, seems to be an interesting site! It doesn't have a forum, though. I was looking for a place where TS adults or teens hang out online. FireFlysWay
Is there a particular time of day you take it or does that not matter? 9144 Hi Mike: The time of day doesn't matter. I used to take 500 mg of Carnosine (in a formulation similar to LEF's Chronoforte) in the morning, 500 mg of pure Carnosine each at 4 PM and 10 PM. Now I take 1000 mg of Carnosine (part of the new Mitochondrial formulation of LEF) in the morning, and 500 mg of pure Carnosine at night. I hope the stuff works as well for you as it does for me. Keep us all posted. Good luck, Firefly.
