pixiesmommy Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 I'll do these alongside mine and Pixie's, so you can see them all and compare. dd3 Peri: IGM 18+ 41+ 58+ IGG 30+ 39+ 41+++ dd10 Pixie: 18+ 30+ 31++ 39 IND 41++ 83+ IGG 18++ 31 IND 34++ 41++ 58++ DH: IGM 39 IND 41++ 83 IND IGG 41++ Myself: IGM: 41 IND IGG: 31 IND 39 IND 41++ We see the LLMD tomorrow. We were at the family dr today because we needed abx. Peri's PANDAS symptoms are through the roof and Pixie's knees were hurting. Pixie is on tx dose for Lyme, but family dr sees a lot of inflammation in her that he is concerned about, so he is ordering lots of other labs and wants to confer w/LLMD about things too. She has inflammation in her esophagus, knees, and her face has some swelling. He wants EKGs for both girls since we have had constant strep in our whole family for about 15 mos now. (Pixie gets one about every 6 months.) We tested pos on the rapid for strep again- surprise, surprise.
sf_mom Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 So sorry its becoming a family affair.. However, I know Peri's early diagnoses will be tremendously helpful to her long term success with this illness. -Wendy
Suzan Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Yowza! Glad you are seeing LLMD tomorrow. Look forward to an update on what he says. That is great that your doc will work with the LLMD and is ordering other tests too. susan
JuliaFaith Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 So glad you are finding some answers. This is such a long journey but the more we find the closer we are to healing! I only hope all of this makes us and our children stronger, wiser, and more empathetic to others. Thank you for sharing and best wishes.
MichaelTampa Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 Wow, yep, quite a "party" going on there. Yikes! Hope your doc has a good breakfast tomorrow!!! Would suggest talking with doc about plan to make sure enough of you are functioning well enough during treatment to keep the family going. So much of what happens will be unexpected, but still a good discussion point I think.
ShaesMom Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 M-sorry to hear its a family affair! I'm really curious about the inflammation in Pixie's esophagus since this is what Shae has and is being treated for in Cincinnati. Good luck today.
