lismom Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 I want to add this because of all the benefits it claims. Immune, antiparasitic, electrolytes, antiviral ... Wondering if anyone is incorporating this daily?
MichaelTampa Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 I haven't used the coconut water, but have used coconut oil regularly for a while. While the list of good things it does is long, I never got the sense of it doing that much. Perhaps it does a lot of nice things, but not very powerfully?
justinekno Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 My son and I tried some the other day and we thought it was pretty good. We avoid Gatorade due to the dyes so maybe this is another option for my son while playing sports. Haven't done much research on it but would be interested to hear what other people have to say about it. I want to add this because of all the benefits it claims. pixiesmommy Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 We love all things coconut and drink a lot of coconut water. This is our favorite convenience brand: http://www.tastenirvana.com/default.php It tastes totally different from the kind you buy in the tetra-paks or cans. We open a lot of young coconuts in my house too and make smoothies w/the water. I use coconut oil in place of butter in almost everything cooked, and for frying since it is one of few oils that withstands high temps.
justinekno Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 I have been buying ours at Trader Joes. I'll have to check out this brand at Whole Foods and compare!
