We are on vanco. and starting diflucan today. Is this activating for some people? Do I give it close to the vanco. Is it best to give at bedtime? Any tips before we start is appreciated.

If my child is very yeasty, i get a die off reaction w/ diflucan. Its pretty quick- w/in an hour of dosing so I usually give it when she's starting to fall asleep so she sleeps through that time.

I have taken the same approach. It works well as far as getting them to sleep, but sometimes backfires b/c they then wet the bed from the die-off and/or they wake up for several hours during the night. Mainly I give during the day at a time that I can easily follow it up with charcoal one hour later to alleviate the die-off. Die off's a *&^%$
