  1. Hi Eve Was wondering if the native remedies products for Tics can be taken by adults who have tics or only for kids? pls advise. fuschia Hi mom on a mission: I am glad someone tried the nativeremedies product becuase I had posted for everyone to try at least once. I have been treating my daughter who suffers with chronic tics with the combination of purecalm, mindsoothe Jr and Brightspark and her tics are almost completely gone. I also consulted the neuro about and because its hemeopathic remedy she said it was OKay to used if it is working. Iam not sure if you read any of my postings, but I am glad it has given your son results and I wish more people can try it. These products are recommended by a pyscologist and before I started using them I consulted the company and spoke to someone about their recommendation for tics they gave me this combination of tinctures which my daughter drinks with juice twice a day due to school and thank god it has made miracles happen. My daughter took the panda test came out negative, she also had extensive blood work done for chemicals the only thing low was her iron in which she is now taking vitamins for. Once in a while I experiment to see if her own body reacts different without the remedies but If I go 4 days without I see the tics coming back along with hyperactivity as well. Happy New Year and god bless! evelynr

  3. Hi Firefly, I would like to try Carnosine for my tics, however i have a few questions was wondering if you could help : 1) I see many Carnosine & L-Carnosine supplements selling online, what is the difference between the 2? Can i get the L-Carnosine of should i go get Carnosine? 2) I see that you mentioned that once you get off Carnosine the tics return, so does this mean that i have to take Carnosine for the rest of my life? Also after taking it for a long period of time, do u know if the Carnosine supplements simply not take effect anymore over time? The neuro prescribe clonepazam but its hopeless & doesn't help at all he didn't even think it was a serious disorder and told me other than clonepazam there is nothing else he can do. I am just desperate to find a relief for my tics as it gets socially embarassing! Thank you. fuschia
  4. Hi Jean I'm from Singapore too and i hv tics...i dunno where to start to improve my condition. I've seen the neuro n he gave me clonotril but i dun see any diff. I am going to try the chinese cupping, accupuncture and see if it can help. How can i start taking supplements when i don't even know what is lacking in my body? pls help me. Maybe we could talk on the phone about this since we live in Singapore or u can email me at debbielee73@yahoo.com Thank you so much fuschia
  5. Hi Carolyn Thank you so very much for your detailed reply. YES! i hv done some researching on the accupunturists around my home.. Coz' i live in Singapore, TCM docs are easily found, its just looking for a good one. Here, only TCM docs with the degree are able to perform accu. legally so i think its rather safe. I will find a reputable one. The TCM doc is also able to do cupping. As for Bonnie's vits..i will go to her site and read more. May i know how long hv u been on Bonnie's vits so far? will it be for a lifetime to be on her supplements? thank you once again. fuschia
  6. Hi Carolyn I just wanted to know more about the therapeutic effects of the massages, accupuncture and stuff that you did. I would like to get it done soonest possible. And how often must i got for these? Do u recommend that i go direct to TCM docs to do the accupunture, cupping and deep tissue massages? Also, as i am new to this forum I want to take start too by taking the supplements that everyone's talking about but how can i find if i am deficiant in any of the minerals ? HELP me... fuschia
  7. Hi Everybody Thank you so very much for giving me all the details of how i can help myself with the tics. I am really very depressed. My neurologists kinda told me that besides the clonepezam medication he can't help me much.... For a start i've read so many threads but i just don't know where to start? How do i find out if my body is lacking in some minerals etc. How do i find out? help...!!! Do you mean that if i take i take vit and mineral supplements, it can help my tics? Actually I'd like to reduce my tics as soon as i can so i thought i'd start with the accupuncture first. Carolyn, you mentioned that i should go to one accupunturist that has a masters. I live in Singapore so there are many TCM accupunturists here so how do i select which one can help treat me, are u refering to the TCM ones? So do u mean i should try the Chinese cupping (with circle marks after treatment... is this the one?) + accupunture + TCM massage? Please advise...... hugs fuschia quote=carolyn_lsc,Oct 4 2005, 08:35 AM] Hi fuschia, I get therapeutic (sometimes called deep tissue instead) massage done. For acupuncture try to find someone that has a masters in acupuncture. Chiropractors & doctors can do acupuncture, but my acupuncturist says its not the same as Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. Plus they don't have the training that an acupuncturist does. My acupuncturist does Chinese Cupping on my back and I love that. Its released the tightness more than massage has. 8. Hi I'm 32 and with the same kind of tics u used to have. My head swings or jerks several times a minute and at 1st it thought it was a habit but it cud not stop. I've seen a neurologist he diagnosed it as habitual tics and prescribed clonepazam. It didn't help and i am researching the net to see if anyone has other remedies. It pains me to read articles that tics can't be cured completely. Please help. I read yr note..what kind of massage should i go for? i am also thinking of accupuncture to see if that can help me. Its really getting embarrassing for people to ask me abt the tics... HELP!
