Healing or Maintenance or both? I was wondering how many of you use olive leaf extract? I think we have come to the end of the line for antibiotics and need some anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial relief. Have used in the past for a supplement to antibiotics, but never alone. Does it work as well? We also have yeast and a viral issues. I have three kiddos and we have reached a dead end. They react or Herz to EVERYTHING. We can't get passed it.

I am just wondering if there are kids out there still using/benefiting from Camel's Milk and if so, what have the improvements been?? Thank you.

I started Vayarin (PS) and one of my son's (the one that doesn't have OCD or anxiety) started with big time OCD....thoughts in his head, repeating everything someone says and asking a ton of questions. I am stopping it tomorrow to see if it subsides.

I have searched this topic on this forum and read and reread. I was hoping someone could weigh in and maybe give me some insight on natural ways to treat these mutations in children with PANDAS/PANS, ADD, ADHD... COMT V158M ++ COMT H62H ++ VDR Bsm ++ MAO A R297R ++ MTHFR A11298C ++ VDR Taq +/- MTR A2756G +/- BHMT-08 +/- CBS C699T +/- "Methyl" confuses me....over/undermethylated, donors etc. From what I understand they can't tolerate donors? They have chronic sinusitis, ear infections, HSV, Epstein Barr, yeast. Anything we treat makes something else worse. I am beginning to think its because they can't detox anything with these pathways. We have tried A LOT of supplements that cause adverse reactions...increase anxiety, OCD, ADHD etc. Looking back they were almost all methyl donors. Enhance, GSE, Pycogenol, Vayarin, Fish Oils. We are going crazy with the lack of focus and control in the house. We have twin 8 year old boys who feed off each other and my poor DD turning 13 tomorrow. She just wants to leave its so crazy. They are all diagnosed. Would Phosphodicholine (sp?) be a good next move? ANY suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Jen

Has there been any known contraindications for PANDAS kids and GI Revive? We are dealing with gut issues and can't seem to heal them....yeast, strep, klebsiella, food intolerances. Probiotics are difficult to take due to reactions.

We have not had with success with Zyrtec or Claritan. Our Pediatrician suggested Allegra for allergies because he said it does not cross BBB. So crazy side effects shouldn't happen. Has anyone had this experience? Thank you.

Do you get one shot per allergen?? That would be a lot of shots for my DS's. Both boys have chronic sinusistis. Is that what your child has?

My ds 7 twins just had allergy testing and tested posted for quite a bit...trees, grasses, horse, mold. Dr. B suggested allergy shots. My question is 2 fold 1. Has anyone tried D Hist Jr.? Is it a problem for PANDAS kids or kids with + MTHFR A1298C +/-? 2. Has anyone tried allergy shots? What is in them besides the allergen? The theory sounds great by my kids are deadly afraid of needles. I have just heard of Sublingual Immunotherapy from Dr. S. Has anyone done this? I am looking for something to help with the allergens while we decide. They don't do well with Claritan etc. Benadryl helps but it dries them out and them both have sinus infections now, so that won't work. Would this mean they have high histamines? Can you please why Krill is better for a sulphur intolerance? My dd11 has issues with Fish Oil as do I. I have been thinking Krill or Primrose. Any other side effects with it?

I am SLOWLY learning about mutations. I think, if I understand it correctly, my dd may not be able to tolerate Methyl Donors. Here is her mutation list: Homozygous COMT V158M COMT H62H VDR Taq MAO-A R297R MTHFR A1298C Heterozygous MTR A2756G CBS C699T That would explain why she can only handle every other day of ENHANSA? How can I find out if her meds are Methyl Donors? I have tried Googling it, without luck. Anyone know off the top of their head?..... I am having a difficult time finding a probiotic that doesn't make my dd tic. We tried Culturelle, Sach B- Florastor and Klaire, Klaire. We have tried multi strand, single strand and now are trying SBO. She is doing better on SBO but I can't increase it past sprinkles.

We stopped Helminths about 2 months ago. All 3 of my kids guts showed a large increase in inflammation. And they just couldn't tolerate it. Also, we are treating one son now for parasites.....he ended up "keeping" the rat tapeworm eggs and they won't go away on its own. So we are treating.

I know Viruses and yeast are connected in the respect that if one is dying off the other can get out of control. So, if dd11 has chronic gut yeast issues and suddenly gets a bad virus...possibly mono and increases Vit C and gets an ton of mouth sores. Stops Vit C and they subside. Start Lysine...same thing. Start Acycloivir...again same thing. Is this die off of virus? or increase in yeast? both or hard to tell? She has had mouth ulcers in the passed while increasing antifungals. I always thought it was yeast die off. I have stopped the Acyclovir and they seem to be slowing. But she is on Azith for strep and yeast is out of control. She has had nausea and constipation for a year. Thought it was side effect of Nystatin. No Nystatin for a few weeks. Still nausea and constipation. Prevacid made nausea worse.

CamKinase II. I am curious because my 3 kiddos are being evaluated for heart issues and am wondering if an elevated CamKinase II can play a role.

Has anyone looked at or linked CamKinase I with heart issues? There is a connection, I just can't comprehend the explanation.
