My son has his appliances from Dr. Sims and he is almost tic free.  He's been suffering for 5 years.  Dr Sims was amazing spending 4hrs with us the first appt and explaining everything in detail just was causes the tics, anxiety, ocd and more.   This is a long process over a year or two and then specific Orthodonic work to hold the newly positioned TMJ joint in place as to not interfer with the 5th crainial nerve anymore.  My sons transformation is fantastic, the appliances will need to be adjusted over that time so one time will or one visit will not do it.  For those who say they have had a bad experience with Dr. Sims is honestly crazy to me, he is the most informative and gentle dr I have ever been to.
