Pow Pow, would that iron be for a 14 year old or just a youger child?

I picked up vitamin shoppe milk thistle in 70mg. capsules. What dose should i start at and is there a certain time of day I should give it? Also, is liquid better than the capsules in your opinion? Thanks

I need some iron that I can get at vitamin shoppe. Any you would recommend? My girls benn on floradix for a month (10 ml. 2x's p/d) and levels have remained 17.

Dr. T. said to put her on iron because this number was very low. Dr. J. said it is not that low and he does not recommend iron. She tested possitive for RLS. What would you do?

Nobody has ever had a head ache as one of their symptoms from tic born illnesses????

I get this head ache every 3 months. It's pain pressure on both sides temples. Pain ontop of my head and at base of my skull. I guess you could say my whole head hurts. I tries Advil, Motrin and Tylenol. Nothing eases pain. Is this the type head ache Lyme sufferers get? Thanks! Lasts for 5 days usually.

S.S. had me start at 1000 mcg. She has been there for two days. Pretty tough. Do you think I should just stay at this dose now that I am there. UGH. Wish I got your post sooner.

Thanks Nancy. She is immobilized with confusion. Can't even get out of bed, but at least she can verbalize to me now how she feels. Before she wasn't able to talk. She tells me she can not get anything done. Too many "thoughts" and "steps". She can't think strainght. I added some folate in today since she had the MTHR mutation (one gene). Perhaps this will help. Dr. gave Rx. for topomax too. Hope something helps!

she is on the bactrim and minocycline and she is getting even more stretch marks on her breasts. does treatment bring out symptoms she already had, even more? her severe confusion seems worse too. the good thing is sleep is better though.

Do you treat this mutation just with folate? My current doctors don't treat for this. Should I find another specialist to help guide me?

It's a powder, but I called the company. They said it's fine. Weird, there is hardly in the bottle but he said they go by weight.

I have ordered a bottle of custom probiotic D-lactate probiotic from amazon. the jar is barely 1/3 full. I don't remember it being such a small quantity. I can't miss giving it tonite since she reacts horribly to any small change I make in her meds/supps. I am concerned about giving it. Does anyone know if the bottle is usually that low. Is it common to need several psych drugs to get through bartonella treatment with antibiotics??? The antibiotics help with massive insomnia but they make her super confused. Confusion is one of her other major symptoms but its much worse with antibiotics. Psychiatrists suggests topomax. Really need advice. Can you tell me what psych. drugs you have used?

I saw some really red, raised ones in the morning and then when I looked again at night they were almost gone. Can that happen? she has tons of stretch marks all over her legs, buttocks, and groin area. Sad for a teenage girl. :0(

When I tried Bactrim and doryx, it didn't make her too mean, but it didn't help much with massive insomnia either. When I give the bactrim with the mino. she is so mean, but it helps a bit more with sleep. Could it be that this combo. is just killing more stuff, and therefore working better, and helping with sleep?

there on the back of her leg...just below her bum. she doesn't even know its there. i saw it today, because she had some short shorts on. she showed me some others on her thighs awhile ago and i always wondered if they were just stretch marks or related to bartonella.( hard to tell the difference,) but when i saw these, it freaked me out. not your typical stretch marks. real red, and more 3 dimensional. i am going to try and get her to let me take a picture.
