  1. Hi there, My dd has lymes. Thought pandas for a while but diagnosed with lymes march 2013. Doing well. Did antibiotics then went to hansa center. Much improved. However her biggest symptom was intrusive ocd like thoughts. Started inositol back in dec. started slowly 350 mg. worked up to 800 mg. I do think it helped. Did not take the thoughts completely away, but they I'd not bother her as much. She was able to move past them easier. It made her happier. Got the powder. Taste yummy like sugar. Since the hansa center they come up maybe once a day for a minute. So backed inositol down to 350 mg once a day. Still treating lymes. But the holistic approach. Mary:)
  2. Think I will forward to the infectious disease doctors I saw at childrens hosp san diego that told me I was crazy that an infection can not cause mood disorders or ocd!! Thanks for posting this;)
  3. Hi Lisa, Me too. I finally tested my dd 9 for lymes through igenex. IgM positive for lymes. Just got results yesterday . She was tested through lab corp back in nov and was neg. glad to know now. You are lucky to be seeing Dr J!! We live in San Diego. Mary
  4. Hi Lisa, Dr T thinks my daughter has pans but we cannot figure out trigger. However she was positive for bartonella. Neg for lymes. Previous symptoms aches in joints, headaches, rages, intrusive thoughts, stomach aches, fears, defiance, mild facial tics, milkmaid gip hands. All symptoms are gone except the intrusive thoughts come a couple times a day. She was treated with antibiotics a couple months. I thought my daughter had pans, but from talking to researcher of bartonella. It sounds like the Bart caused most of the symptoms. So like you not sure. I feel like that crazy lady too sometimes;) From your Daughers blood work sounds like dr t found a few triggers. Doesn't band 41 mean any bacteria with flagellates? Did you test her for co infections? I just wish I could completely get rid of her thoughts. However, they are so much better. Also giving her inositol that has really helped her mood. Mary
  5. My ds has been off antibiotics for month and half. But hear it takes long time for liver enzymes to go down. Is this true? Could it be olive leaf? Thanks mary
  6. My dd 9 liver enzymes came back mildly elevated. Ast at 52. She has been off zythromax since dec25. But was on it a month. Now is on olive leaf, inositol 700 mg. multi vit, omega 3 vit D. Could the liver enzymes be up still from antibiotics. Or from olive leaf or inositol. The inositol is really helping her mood. Stopping the olive leaf. Should I stop the inositol too Thanks mary
