What do you think in terms of PANDAS?? http://www.redorbit.com/news/health/1732095/avipaxin_is_first_entrant_in_medical_arsenal_for_neuroendocrineimmune_connectionc/

It is unfortunately expensive but it seems like it is made for something exactly like PANDAS. Dr. T told me at one point that the endocrine system defiantly plays a role in PANDAS. I'm excited! I think I'm going to wait until November (Thanksgiving break) to try it though because I just started a new job and I don't want anything to go wrong right in the very beginning.
Worried_Dad Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 The company that makes this (NeuroScience) used to offer a "PANDAS panel" to test for immunological markers indicative of PANDAS. (They discontinued it a few years ago... maybe due to controversy?) They also offer a supplement called Kavinace that several parents on this forum reported being very helpful for reducing their children's OCD symptoms. (We tried it, but it didn't work for our son.) Looks like they now offer a Lyme test, too: https://www.neurorelief.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=604 Interesting!
