time limit on posting?

is there a time limit to finish a posting? it seems many times, i have lost a post or PM and i don't understand why. have i exceeding some time limit?

sometimes, if I know I have a large post -- which seems to be all the time -- I type and edit it in Word, and then just clip and paste it into the posting box

there may be a default log out time but I am not aware of it because I have the remember me checked so I auto log in whenever I come to the forums.

That way default log out time is also cancelled.

When I want to clear cookies & cache on my computer, I get logged out, or if I click log out when closing the page.

be sure you are using the ADD REPLY when you submit the post and not the Preview button as that will cause you to lose the post/PM if you dont then use the ADD REPLY
