Guest Jean Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 My son’s ND has asked us to take Quercetone instead of anti-histamine and asthma medicine. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with Quercetone. Your feedback is appreciated! Jean
Phyl Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Hi Jean, Yes, our environmental doctor recommended quercetin for my older son who has respiratory allergies. She said it has a natural antihistime-like effect. He was supposed to use up to 500 mg 2 or 3 times/day. (He's about 130 lbs and 16 years old). We never found it to be very effective for him, though I'm not sure he ever did it more than one time/day. One thing he did like was a product called stinging nettles, in capsule form. This did seem to help him breath more easily and have less nasal congestion. He had no side effects from this. If you look at Dr. Weil on the net, he recommends quercetin highly. Phyl
