Sorry for another post. is anyone up for the job of scanning our comments or are you doing that already, JAG? Is synergy sending a good amount of votes our way? they went up 10 spots in amatter of days. we're slipping...

SMA won the $250K last month. I have no idea what a shifting vote, but I am getting very frustrated.

Should we approach http://www.refresheverything.com/ErinsDream on their FB page. Say if they put us on their FB page as their status on Friday, we will do the same for them. Call each other something like "Our voting partner for the day"?

I hope people are branching out to new groups......I have been encouraging that for awhile now on a daily basis. We can't stay with the same list the whole time....we need to branch out and make more alliances...throwing some votes to our old alliances, too. Remember I said to "make new friends, but keep the old?"

 

I have been working on Glennwood....perhaps others can send them some votes, too.

 

I am beginning to feel like a broken record.........

I think a good strategy is to look at the other money categories and the causes that are close to being in the top 10. These people are probably working the hardest to get there........send them votes....offer an alliance. Tell them that you want to work together to get each other in the top 10!

 

Then...... look for a response from them in our comment section. I've done this and it seems to be working. Just make sure you send votes back to them....check out the ones I have listed to vote for in the above threads...add them to your list. You'll most likely have more than 10.....rotate each day! Keep trying to make atleast one new alliance every day....write things down. Don't forget our old buddies!

We've had a rough day. Many of those we steadily support have maintained or advanced.

 

Is there anything we changed today that needs to be reconsidered?

ACK! I've got a kid going psycho on me w/ IVIG, a nephew who just had surgery for a malignant tumor on his spine....and, well lots going on! There are too many threads about this project! We're all very busy, because we're PANDAS parents, so can't we make it very simple? I vote for myself and have 4 proxy votes...but will take on more proxies if somebody wants me to. I'm thinking of something like this-

If you vote between:

6:00 & 7:00 AM, vote for PANDAS, SkyU, SMA, Sophie's...(4 of our main supporters) and vote for who ever is in the 5K positions 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

7:00 & 8:00AM, vote for PANDAS, 4 more of our main supporters, and who ever is in positions 11,12,13,14,15 of 25K

8:00 & 9:00 AM vote for PANDAS, 4 more of our main supporters, and who ever is in positions 3,4,5,6,7 of 250K.

 

Then cycle that throughout the day- all anybody would need to know who to vote for is what time of day they are voting....we'd be sure to hit all our majors and recruit those who are just out of reach of the top- and thus working harder for it. WhaAt this point I've read so many posts @ who to vote for and what not, my head is spinning. I need clear, simple direction. Is there anybody who has the time to put together a schedule for us?

Completely understandable, Vickie. I wasn't meaning to be critical and I know we're novices at this sort of thing. I still think we've got a good shot at it. But I do find myself each day, wondering just who the heck should I vote for... and lots of scattered advice. Maybe just one thread can be established and the others locked? I don't think anyone has the time to really, really get us all organized, so I thought something like the above schedule might just work, because everyone would be able to be on the same page that way.

I in no way hold you responsible for the confusion and I'm grateful for and in awe of those of you who took the initiative to get this project up and running. I JUST WANT US TO GET THAT GRANT!!!!

It is funny you mention this because I had sent Vickie an e-mail earlier today stating the very same concern.....that we were not on the same page and everything is too disorganized and confusing. Like Vickie said, we didn't anticipate this and are doing our best.

 

We have discussed this via personal e-mail and are devising a plan. I will consider what you have suggested when I write it up.

 

I will begin a completely new thread.......we will disregard the old ones. It won't be up until tomorrow morning sometime. My kids leave for school at 8, then, I will write it up and look into everything, so, it may take an hour or so. You all may want to hold off on voting until the post goes up. This is up to you...remember, we have all day to vote.
