PANDAS on TV- DEB C

Everyone!!! We are making a difference. Here is a message on a local area board to which I post awareness information:

 

"Deb, your WFAA story has certainly caught the attention of many parents who had not heard of PANDAS previously. I work at a behavioral center for children and we have had two parents call in today with concerns after seeing your story. Whether or not their children are affected, I think it is great that you are raising awareness! " This is just 2 I've been told about. I would guess that area pediatricians are all fielding calls today!

I thought this was informative and straightforward, ... good for folks in your part of the woods to hear about ocd and symptoms that could be triggered by strep........

Does anyone know....is there a way to "keep" these news clips somewhere (on this forum, or one of the websites) since they may disappear from their original sites eventually.

 

I'm also thinking of Lauren/Lynn's latest clip (with Dr. B.)....there was also was a TV news clip a while back (Nicole) of a mom who posts here with her dd talking about how hard it was to get abs... http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/health...iladelphia.html

 

I'd be great to have them all in one spot...so if people want to "share them" with teachers, relatives etc. they can easily do so.

Can you put it on you tube? Otherwise, my husband once explained that whenever you view something on your computer ou can track that file down and save it. I'll ask him. He's sneaky like that.

I called the station to ask about getting a copy. They said that they subcontract that out to VMS (Video Monitoring Services). I have contacted them about getting a copy on DVD. I'm not sure if I'd be able to upload from that or not... I'm waiting to hear back from them about getting this digital copy. Their voice mail said it could take 48 hours for a return call.
