starting Zithromax

Well I was able to get Zithromax for 1 month should I do for a month and then go right back to the Augmentin--waiting for insurance to preauthorize for anything after a month. thanks

What does the doctor want you to do? If your child does well on the zith, why not just continue on the zith? How did he do on the augmentin? I'm guessing not too well if you switched to zith.

Hi,

some increase in tics but much much better--I guess Dr. Latimer was thinking we could try Zithromax ANthonys level continue to go up despite being on Augmentin twice a day I guess just to see if we get better results--I am just afraid of change thats all I don't want to go back to where we came from and we are alot better on the AUgmentin--just confused.

your son is on topomax too, right? (sorry if I'm wrong, am I?) another poster was reporting vamping up of symtpoms despite being on topomax, .. could it just be that it has worn out its welcome? I know some say that somewhere along the line, some meds kind of stop working as good as they did in the beginning. (disregrd this if he's not on topo.)

Hi Faith,

yes he is on Topamax--I am not sure so many triggers at this time I will see what happens over the next few weeks--thanks for the response on both my posts.
