Stephanie2 Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Singulair made my kid a little nuts, but Zyrtec put him over the edge!! When I took him off both one day, his behavior improved dramatically overnight! Watch out for both of those drugs! Also, the pediatrician said that zyrtec made her want to divorce her husband - she was on it for 3 years before she realized what it was doing to her!!! Stephanie This is all so interesting and helpful. My son is partially off milk but giving me a hard time about giving it up and finally took zytec for the first time this AM. He is getting sooooo bad again. I vacuumed his room and got a bigger air purifier today. We will see if that helps. Can Zytec cause and increase in symptoms? He has asked me 3 times over the last 3 days if he was going to stay like this for the rest of his life. He has never asked that. He was in tears tonight. I haven't seen that in a while either, usually he just keeps on trying. I hate this disease so much. It is a form of torture for all involved especially these poor kids.
Joan Pandas Mom Posted April 19, 2010 Author Report Posted April 19, 2010 Caryn, I want to try the anti-fungi diet. How do I find out more about it? What do you eliminate?

Allergies can play a major role in conditions such as asthma. In some people, severe allergies to environmental or dietary allergens or to medication may result in life-threatening reactions called anaphylaxis. Food allergies, and reactions to the venom of stinging insects such as wasps and bees are often associated with these severe reactionsThe immune system normally protects the body against harmful substances, such as bacteria and viruses. It also reacts to foreign substances called allergens, which are generally harmless and in most people do not cause a problem.
