bubbasmom Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 RISPERIDAL WAS OUR SAVING GRACE!! I'm serious it made all the difference in the world. Made my son gain weight, but oh my goodness totally controlled his rage. My son is 13 and weighs 170 so when he rages, everyone's in danger!!!

More than one psych. suggested Risperidal to us--but I was concerned that IF my d had Ps that it could backfire and cause serious activation issues (ativan had done so--) Does your son do well when on abx ? Fixit Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 (edited) You are not alone and help is coming ( somebody out there is studying and working to cure our kids condition, this I am sure of)pathfinder from Diamond Bar Pathfinder.....THANK YOU for proclaiming this!!!! IT lifts my heart.... Nita...i would definietly ask dr k about raising abx level....if he sees this alot with older kids.....and he says he is still learning..... then maybe he has it a little wrong and his proticol needs a little tweeking....you can always lower it again...
