Gina Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 Hi All, I know in the past I have seen that some of you have taken your children to see a chiropractor. Was this helpful? My son is 9 and has been dealing with a neck/shoulder tic latley and his neck is really sore from it. I was thinking about taking him to see the chiropractor but I am wondering if that is a good idea. I Just would like to know if any of you have taken your children and what exactly did they do. Thanks Gina
Chemar Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 Hi Gina yes! a chiropractor is an essential part of the treatment to alleviate both the pain and skeletal misalignment that happens with many kinds of tics. I would caution tho that with children it is important to find a practitioner that specialises in treating children and preferably one that practices the NUCCA system of chiro http://www.nucca.org HTH
