Berberine

Hi - I've been googling candidiasis treatments for me my mom and came across berberine as an antifungal. Googling some more, I came across this article and wondered if anyone else had heard of this before or, even, be using it?

 

Article discusses it's uses in neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders as it has an ability to regulate neurotransmitters.

It's also antimicrobial/antifungal and anti-inflammatory/reduces cytokines if I remember right.

I cant open the article but we have taken bereberine for immune support and strep as part of Dr usmans biofilm. This always just stirred things up for us making symptoms worse. I wasnt good at remembering the charcoal when symptoms arose but when i did the charcoal didnt seem to help. There was also a mucolyctic enzyme that we took along with the bereberine. It supposedly breaks up strep in the nose. Its called SPS30. I will try to copy and paste that URL so I can read the article.

Have you ever visited the Yasko forum? There is a ton of info there on berberine (oregon grape) and almost every supplement under the sun.

If you use the search feature for berberine a bunch of threads will come up

My first thought was Bourbon (when I read the word Berberine).....Yeah I think we could all use some of that, too.

yeh - I find 5ml of bourbon for my ds (35lb) orally and 10ml for my dd (65lb) really works to get them to sleep. For me (weight omitted) 200ml split into 2 doses over a 1 hour period really reduces stress and aids with sleep
