Anyone who see's Dr Murphy, can you tell me if a one time consult will be worth the stress on my dd. My dd gets monthly ivig and her ocd is minimal right now. Her tics seem to still surface with infection and she is on high dose abx. As much as I want to sit down with the "leading expert on Pandas", I have to bring my kid with me and I am not sure the stress of rehashing the last five years will be worth the info she has to add. For those whom have seen Murphy please give me your advice. Thank you so much.

I know another person, I don't believe is on this forum, who very recently saw Murphy for a consult (not for the study) and wasn't impressed. She did not suggest any SSRI's like some have said she might do, but did send for bloodwork and a referral for therapy. No follow up was made or offerred.

we saw dr Murphy 10 years ago so I am not sure about current info on her testing or treatment protocol

we liked her very much as she was thorough and very caring, but she wasn't very tuned in to the natural treatments we were seeking to start for my son

her evaluation and testing indicated my son was not PANDAS and so we continued seeing one of her associate psychiatrists who helped my son greatly with his tourettic OCD and helped with weaning him off the TS meds he was on
