Thankyou for all the info. on the antigen and the testing. Unable to get the Cam test. It would be nice to have a Global data base, for all the blood tests, Genetic autoimmune factors and any other triggers ie vaccines to be collected and analysized.

Here is a link to an article of Dr. Vojdani's. My son had this test done during the time it was availble, in Sept. '08; he fit the criteria on page 5 of severe PANDAS.

I think this is the lecture (or possibly in the Q and A session afterwards?) where Dr. Swedo (DAN! lecture) talks about d8/17 testing no longer being available.

By the way (was this already posted?) here is another paper that discusses D8/17 http://ajp.psychiatryonline.org/cgi/content/full/159/8/1430 It was of particular interest to me since my dd (at age 7.5 years) had full-blown anorexia nervosa (fear of weight gain, distorted body image, went from 50 pounds to 42 in a matter of 2-3 weeks) thanks to PANDAS. Sadly, Mae Sokol (one of the leading researchers on pandas anorexia) has passed away.
