Please Help w/ Vaccines

My 3 year old son who does not have tics as my other child does, is supposed to get another Hib vaccine, and I have no idea what to do about this. We have always vaccinated according to schedule, but of course with events of the past year, we no longer feel comfortable vaccinating. I'm wondering if all vaccines are linked to tics, or just the MMR? Is the Hib required for him to go to preschool?? Any information would be so helpful! And also, my almost 5 year old with tics is supposed to get his second MMR in 2 months, how have you other parents handled this??

Ask to have your 5 year old's blood titered for MMR. He may not need to have it if he has enough antibodies already from his first round. We were able to skip the normal 5 year old boosters because our youngest had enough protection already in her system!

Good luck! My oldest will be due for some boosters and I don't want them if he doesn't absolutely need to have them....gotta research more....

the jury is still out on this but many parents whose kids already have neuro probs try to stay away from all booster vaccines. Just as hope has said, frequently kids build sufficient immunity from the first shots and dont need those boosters.

some parents on the forum have info on which forms to provide the schools for this

My son is with tics is allergic to beef as well, and it states to not get the MMR shot if you are allergic to gelatin, and I'm pretty sure gelatin is made from beef. Any thoughts?
