Hello all,

I think it's important to try to develop a uniform method of tracking onset and treatment of children with PANDAS, to see the big picture. This will be key to serious clinical research.

Towards this end, I have developed a PANDAS treatment log in the form of an Excel spreadsheet. It is a first try and I would appreciate your comments.

Only problem, I don't know how to send an attachment.

If you would like the file, please e-mail me at trifmd@gmail.com and I will send it to you.

If there is lots of interest, I will try to make it available from my website as a download .... also learning how to do this ....

So far about 20 people have asked for the form. I'm going to try to put it on a file server so that all can get by http or ftp download.

Any comments are appreciated. It's probably best to post comments here so that we can share ideas.

Is it too cumbersome to be useful? My idea is that you could look at the whole thing and see correlations that would otherwise be missed in history taking.

It is also nice to have it as an excel file, as you could simply e-mail it to your doctor to update them on progress ...

This might be good stuff to discuss at the "think tank"! But you guys are the REAL think tank!

I've put a copy of the file temporarily at

pandas_treatment_log.xls

until Dr. T posts his fileserver name.

quick question...

Dr. T, is this something that you want us to return to you after we fill it in because you are gathering info (even if our child sees a different doctor) or is this just a tool to help us parents to organize our children's history?

Thanks a lot!
