Trip to NJ Tonight!

We are leaving in the middle of the night to catch our train to NJ to see Dr. T. Wish us luck with this big trip! I won't have access to a computer until we get back so I hope to post an update on Sunday. I think the timing is good for this trip. My girls are doing better than usual so they can withstand the excietment (although they have a lot of anxiety about it) but they are starting to slide downward and we really need the direction and help.

 

I am pretty nervous about doing it all by myself, so much unknown but I'm trying not to let the girls know that or they would probably be even more nervous.

Traveling to DC on my own and catching planes, trains, cabs, buses, etc. was scary too with my son. Hang in there. We are all cheering for you and you are definitely doing the right thing. Treat them and yourself along the way and make it fun.

Have a safe and beneficial trip!!! Please let us know how it goes as well. I have his contact info here on my desk. He's only about 2 hours from me. But that insurance situation has me hedging. I know I need to do what's best, but I feel I should try local and in insurance first. I have GREAT insurance and am just having so many problems anymore with doctors that don't take any insurance. Dealing with Chiari and now this is going to break me! I don't like having to decide between getting my brain surgery or having my son taken care of. Of course, my son will come first, but if I don't get my ACM fixed soon, I don't know how well I can care for my son!

 

I'm sorry for the mini hijack here, but I really want to know if it will be worth it!

Im so sorry to hear you say that you must care for yourself If you dont you cant take care of your son god bless you..I hate the insurance company!!
