Guest
Those of you that have ate at Disney World where are good places to eat for dairy, gluten, and soy free meals? Are the buffets good for this or is it better to get table services. I'll take any suggestions you have for places to eat. I'm taking my son to Disney World for his first b-day in May. It's a long ways off, but I got a dining plan and would like to figure out where we can eat during my X-Mas break because my spring semester will be very busy with Aiden, teaching, and looking for jobs. powerofprayer
Carolyn, My official guide to WDW says you simply have to make your needs know when you make your advance reservations. i have a friend who recently went with her son who is GF/CF and I believe that's all they had to do as well. I dont' know if that will limit the places you can eat or if ALL the restaurants in the park can accommodate the special diets. But definitely call ahead........wayyyy ahead!! Chemar
Hi carolyn yes, DW is very accommodating to guests with special needs in all ways, including diet, but you do need to notify them ahead of time also, just an FYI, if I read your post correctly you are planning to be there over the Christmas vacation? Do be aware that this is the very busiest season at Disney and so the crowds and the lines are the longest with often an hour or more in line for the more popular rides then That can be very exhausting for an adult, never mind a tiny one! Honest, my suggestion would be to wait until Aiden is a little older to fully appreciate it, but that is just my opinion. When we relocated to the Orlando area, my youngest was just 2yo and he found it very overwhelming being at Disney (he is my son with TS)..however, the following year, he began to fully appreciate it as he was a little older. we used to do the annual passes when the kids were young and had wonderful times there
