Guest Guest_efgh
Thanks Jeff. That is good that elimination diet really helps your kids. What salicylates do your daughters react a lot to? thanks.

Phyl
Jeff, That is great that about the newspaper article featuring the Feingold Organization and your family. I have been wondering one thing about the Feingold diet. It seems that mostly it's geared toward kids, and that it's kids who seem to benefit from it according to almost everything I've read. I was, in fact, wondering if there is some magic age after which the diet no longer works or is no longer necessary. Then I saw that you wrote that it also helps you with different issues. So, have I just made an uninformed assumption about the appropriate age for Feingold? Does it work less well in adults? Certainly, it seems that the F.O. website is mostly all about children. Guest Jeff
Hi Phyl, The FG diet certainly works for all ages. You're right though, that most of the talk on the FG bulletin board is about children. That's because most of the people writing are parents who are trying to provide alternative therapies for their children. And most of the targets for FG are for behavioral issues - especially ADD, ADHD, etc. No, there is no magic age after which it is no longer beneficial. In fact, many of the parents on the BB will comment that following FG has helped them with their moods, migraine headaches, allergies, etc. Jeff
