How long term are they on antibiotics?? Is this working for you.? thanks for all your advice.

This is actually unknown. I would imagine you would want to continue the abs through the teen years or at least puberty.

 

So far, Azithromycin has been 80-90% effective at controlling my dd's PANDAS. She will still react (realatively mild symptoms) if she is exposed to strep or gets other illnesses (PITAND) such as when she had fifth's dz last month. Azith. has been extremely helpful but not a total cure. IVIG might be a cure for some.
