CSP Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 Hi Darla, I'm not sure why, may have something to do with the fact one is messing with the hormones, but DHEA is not to be given to a child under 18yo. I think most people hear would have to do that under Dr. supervision. We have not heard from the poster who started this thread, so don't know if as an adult he has tried DHEA. I read somewhere that a study was being done if DHEA was linked to neurotransmitter release rates. That is still being studied and no real answers. That would be interesting tho for tics and ocd.
