Tics, OCD, Extreme Anxiety - Dog Allergy

Recommended Posts

I need some advice. My son (age 21) has suffered from TS, tics, OCD, Anxiety for many years. We just found out that he has both cat and dog allergies off the chart. (We knew about the cat and have taken steps to avoid all cat dander). We just found out that his serum results for cat (33.40) for dog (18.40) and norm is less than 0.35. We've had small dogs in the family forever.

Question: Is there a way to neutralize this or should we remove our dogs permanently? I read about potassium bicarbonate, QBC, some on NAET. Do anyone have any personal experience with success? We are also using hepa filters now until we decide on what to do.

Thanks so much.

Lin,

My son has been treating with NAET for a couple of years now and recently has switched to Bioset. I would recommend you to read "Say Goodbye to Allergy" and "The Food Allergy Cure". Bioset is a spin off from NAET and in my opinion is more fine tuned and accurate.

With NAET, my son's tics did not lessen after each treatment, it was a gradual process over time, along with lifestyle modifcations and other alternative treatment therapies, like acunpuncture, chiropractic, CST, and taking homeopathic remedies.

IMO, if one has allergies, rather food or environmental that trigger the tics, then allergy desensitization could be very effective.

Pat,

Thanks so much for this input. I am going to look further into these books, Bioset and desensitization.
