For all of you out there who are concerned with this proposed S.722 that congress will be voting on any day now, you may want to know that influential senators such as Hilary Clinton and Diane Feinstein have recently signed on to co-sponsor the bill. Please give this urgent matter the appropriate attention that it deserves.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Jennifer

would you please also post the info that you have on this on the BrainTalk Forum

There are many parents and TSers on the board there who are active and would be willing to do what is needed to add their voice of protest to any regulations that would inhibit the natural treatments that they have found so very beneficial.

Here is the Forum link

Dear Chemar,

Thanks for the brain talk website idea. I'll get to it first thing tomorrow. And Ted, there has not been any media attention at all. On the 21st of October there was a big march on Capitol Hill........I didn't see it in the news at all. I know health food stores like GNC have info. on there website and have been handing out flyers to their customers. The way this whole thing is being kept hush hush is a bit disconcerting.

Thanks

Thanks for posting the info on BrainTalk Jennifer.....hopefully lots of people will actually react and send in those email petitions.

I used the official letter thru the http://www.citizens.org website

AND

I emailed Senator Durbin (the sponsor of S.722) as well as the co-sponsors, Sen Clinton & Feinstein.

I told them about my son and how easy and affordable access to supplements is essential to his well being.

I am also waiting for a return call from the health Editor for my local newspaper.

Great job Chemar!!!! I didn't even think about e-mailing the senators that you contacted-great idea! Could you tell me how you went about getting their e-mail addresses?

Contacting our local newspapers is a good idea. I conctacted mine, but have not had any response. I'll just have to try again.

I hope everyone else reading this will be moved to take action.

:D I just posted this on the thread at BrainTalk too

Well.....what a pleasant surprise I got today in the form of a reply to my email to Sen. Feinstein about the importance of easy access to supplements for my son.

After having received a canned response from Sen Clinton that she doesnt respond to emails that are not from New York State residents

Here is what Sen Feinstein wrote (and I have just sent her a thank you email, again stressing how the parents of kids like mine are relying on her to investigate and give heed to our need for these supplements for our children's health and well-being.)

Thank you for writing to express your views. I read your comments with interest and will keep your views in mind as my staff and I review legislation.

Please feel free to contact me again in the future with any matter that is of importance to you. I value your opinion and appreciate your interest in actively contributing to the

legislative process.
