Andy
I was wondering if anyone saw the onset of tics or tics getting worse after your child received the flu shot? Last time I looked it up the flu shots still had mercury in them hidden in the name of thimerosal. Thimerosal consists of 49.6% ethyl mercury, an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal that allows manufacturers to sell the vaccine in large, multi-dose containers without fear of contamination. Something to look into for the future.
Betty04
My 3 year old had the flu shot in October. He had a rapid, severe onset of eye blinking the next day. The neurologist was alarmed enough by his presentation that they put him under anaesthesia for an MRI. He has never been the same since this shot. I was told it was mercury free and hypothesize that the flu shot overloaded his fragile immune system? My DAN doctor recommends avoid flu shots in the future. kim
Betty, Was your son's reaction reported to VAERS? Do you happen to have a copy of his immunization record? We could probably track down whether it contained thimerosal or not, if you do. You would not believe how many Dr.s are totally unaware that there are still immunizations containing thimerosal. Betty04
Hi,It was definately reported as an adverse reaction, thanks to the neurologist pushing the pediatrican. I had them give me a copy of the report and vaccine label and saw that there was no thimerosal in the shot, my peds office does not give any thimerosal to any child under 3 years. I agree with you that many Dr's are unaware of the content of their immunizations! Betty Was your son's reaction reported to VAERS? Do you happen to have a copy of his immunization record?
