bmom
Yes, he said that it could be family tics, yet virus induced. He didn't elaborate much further. I guess I will have to order that bubble big enough to hold my son-just kidding.
michele
This is an article on autism but touches on the similarities of spectrum disorders and autoimmune disorders. I think it explains the effect of mercury on estrogen levels and I think this is what Dr. Demio was referring to with Andrew because he thinks his damage has come in part from metals and repeat vaccine exposure when he already had an unsteady immune system. It seems to make sense with what Kim has explained here in the past about repeat mercury exposure. Maybe she can reply to her take on it. I am confused on high testosterone in my son. He is very small also and sensitive and scared of things. Quite the opposite of what I'd think of with too much testosterone. [quote name='faith' date='Nov 8 2007, 01:41 PM' post='185 Michele, interesting about the estrogen/tetosterone -- did you mean the doctor thought kids with tics (or other issues?) would have more tetosterone and you "don't" fit that description? I fit your description as well (5'2", small feminine featuures and italian). I also would not say my son was overly filled with tetosterone, he is small boned and also has soft facial features. So does that mean we are opposite of what the doc said? Faith
