emma1
I am starting over (again) trying to figure this out and am thinking I should start with a good multivitamin. My daughter has tics and high strep titres. She is 16 years old. Does anyone have any suggestions? Are Bonnie's vitamins a good choice in a PANDAS situation? Thanks so much! Chemar
Hi Emma Bonnie's supplements are not multivitamins but rather specific formulations designed to help with Tourette Syndrome. There are good reports on them from many, including PANDAS patients. However they are not a substitute for a multi, and it should also be mentioned that we have heard from some who do not react well to them, possibly due to some ingredient in the TS plus that doesnt agree with them. Also Bonnie does a fish oil supp which is excellent, but do remember that some people seem to tic more with fishoil and for them flaxseed oil is a better alternative source of Omega 3 EFAs Finding good multi's can be challenging Our family has been using liquid multis for a while now Here are some choices at iHerb http://www.iherb.com/Search.aspx?c=1&kw=liquid+multi They also do a lot of multi's in capsule and pill form the important thing is to be sure it contains all the essential vitamins and minerals and trace elements in optimal absorbable form and no nasty artificial stuff or benzoate preservatives etc
