Pamela Kay
My son has his appt. with the chiro who does A/sert today. I mentioned in previous posts it is much like NAET. Well he concluded Keegs is allergic to corn, which I already knew, sugar and wheat/gluten. He also concluded that he is allergic to cell phones and prescribed a magnet. Yeah I know it sounds really hokey. He found that he also had a reaction to antimony. So for that he prescribed a homeopathic remedy T Antimony. Has anyone here treated for antimony? I did a search and found general references for it but did not find where anyone actually was treated for it. I am having a really hard time with this whole homeopathic remedy deal, like treats like. Well that would mean that T antimony is poison since antimony is. I hope I am wrong with this assumption but that is just freaking me out! The only other thing he suggested is L glutamine plus. Which seems to be okay. I sounds like others here have had success with that. I did not buy any of the products as I wanted to research them first. faith
Hi Pamela, How will your son be desensitized for the allergens? Does it work the same way as the NAET? Does he just use the homeopathic remedies or the accupuncture clearing? Are you waiting to try that or will you go ahead with the recommendations? Also, you said you knew corn to be an allergen for him and the A/sert confirmed that? Just curious if you kept that to yourself or did the doc know of that going in? What type of testing did you do to find about the corn? And what is antimony? I will look up, but never heard of that. Thanks Faith

When I questioned that he said he could do it either way but the cold laser has better results. I picked up the l-glutamine today and I decided to hold of on the homeopathic antimony. I guess I am just not ready to go there yet. When he tested for the allergens it was very interesting because he had two cups full of common allergens, one was full of environmental and the other foods. When he held the foods one his tics started going off like crazy. Previous to this he did not have any the whole time since I picked him up from school that day until that moment. I would guess it was about 1 1/2 hours with of time. His tics then lasted about 5 - 10 minutes after he held that cup. Anyway when I asked him what was it he was holding he said he does not even look until after they test positive for it. Then he looked and told me it was the common food allergens. From there he individually tested for each food allergen and came up with corn, wheat/gluten, and sugar. We initially found out he was allergic to corn from a regular medical allergist. I did tell him keegs was allergic to corn when I went in for a consultation a week ago.
