kim Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 hi mblack, I have been away for a while (computer accident..2 years of "saved research" gone ) and have been helping a family friend thru a tough situation, but I wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone! Here are a couple of threads on pyruloria http://www.latitudes.org/forums/index.php?...mp;hl=pyruloria http://www.latitudes.org/forums/index.php?...ic=355&st=0 A blood test ordered by a regular Dr. can help uncover ongoing issues with lead, but you would probably want to do a hair test, your enviro. Dr. may suggest a challenge test (urine) for mercury/metals or Porphyrins test (urine also) Here is another thread with some great info, that Claire put together. http://www.latitudes.org/forums/index.php?...ic=755&st=0 HTH Kim
bmom Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 ok so my daughter is only turning 3 this month, but I am so paranoid now that every little thing my children do freaks me out. I asked the psycologist (we started taking my son to for habit reversal a few months ago, but stopped before he got into it) if she was dixplaying OCD symptoms and he thought I was crazy. Sometimes I do now too as when I just watch my sons friends to see if maybe I would think they might be doing some of the things I worry about, they are. Im sure I will relax in time. I guess I always worried that something was hereditary as my husband will do a hard blink at times, but blew it off until my son had the tic outburst. I have to remember that not every little thing is something starting.
