michele
Thank you for the interesting article. It is one I had not found before. I think my son has PITANDS because he gets symptoms after any virus, shots, or fevers. I am not sure of others here who have this. I My son started down this path with a strep infection at thirteen months that had a high fever. Like two weeks ago he had a tummy ache, diarreah, fever. Then he immediately started finger bending, emotional, hyper, crying fits, repeated urination, knee bends, and compulsiveness, It is frustrating because as often as kids get sick we have to deal with these symptoms that last for weeks and almost never go completly away. However the change inhis personality when he is coming down with something is enough that I can pick the day it started. I wish there was more info on PITANDS. Our immunolgist says there is not enough to make a true diagnosis. Michele

This explains my son so well! With school starting soon, I think this would be a great tool in helping the teachers understand what is going on with our children. Our world has been turned upside down and with out all the advice and knowledge from this sight we would have not made it!
