I know this may sound like a strange question? My son has always had a droopy eye lid and when he gets tired, his right eye will look like a lazy eye. Through the past years doctors have asked about this. It does not interfere with his vision but this has been going on since he was quit young. I'm just wondering if this could have been a sign of a motor tic and no one realized this. He has been checked for Graves and Myst Gravis. Any ideas?

No, I have had a droopy eye lid my entire life (worse when I am tired). I have never suffered from tics. My mother has the same and she has never had tics. I don't think the two are related.

If the eyelid twitches and droops that can be a tic, but a drooping eyelid per se is not necessarily indicative of a tic

In addition to the conditions you tested for, Lyme Disease can sometimes cause drooping eyelids so you may want to ask on our PANS forum about that if there is any chance of having contracted it via a tick bite

I found some research that indicated bacteria that causes sinus infections can cause this problem. My son had lots of these growing up. So I am wondering about this connection. Thanks for your responses.
