No weight gain, no appetite

Because of all the meds my 3 kiddos are on......antibiotics, anti fungals, anti virals +supplements and the plain fact of PANDAS...they don't eat. Every meal time is a battle....there isn't any appetite at all. Has anyone tried anything to stimulate appetites?

Just a thought, but have their iron levels been checked? I'm just wondering if antibiotics will miss with these levels. When my son was anemic 2 years ago, I could not hardly get him to eat. It was bad but once the iron levels were there, it was much easier.

I don't know much of your history, I apologize...How long has the limited eating been going on? Will they eat any one thing?

Our restrictive eating is a PANDAS symptom.

When my father-in-law was in the hospital they used aromatherapy to stimulate appetite. Sorry I don't know which one.

 

Also on another thread we were talking about how Zinc helps with Anorexia and Vitamin D may exacerbate some PANDAS kids along with certain probiotics and fish oil. Maybe cut back on supplements and re-add them one at a time.
