Mommy2MCL
I wonder if the craving of chocolate is her bodies way of saying she is deficient in certain vitamins or minerals. I googled some and found an article http://www.livestrong.com/article/467522-what-vitamin-are-you-missing-if-you-crave-chocolate/#page=1 There is not much info but maybe some of the ladies could tell you a test for these. 3bmom
We had the eating issue with our DS, 30 lbs in 2 months at age 11. He wouldn't eat growing food because he didn't want to be tall. We had no luck at the hospital where they allowed him to eat ice cream as much as he wanted. He had 3 infections, strep, myco and HHV-6. Our immunologist took him off of Dairy immediately, and than grains before meds. We had immediate improvement. Now we have learnd about GMO's in our food and pesticides. I posted on this earlier. Without reading the label I bet boost contains High Fructose Corn Syrup and/or soy products. About 90% of these ingredients are Genetically altered which can set off a Cytokine Cascade from the immune system along with killing off good bacteria. I know you need to get food into her but making your own vitamix or an organic supplement drink would be better. If she likes chocolate we do milkshakes with Chocolate Almond Milk and either Organic soy Ice cream or coconut ice cream. Bananas taste great with this too. Chocolate macaroon cookies with no dairy or flour make a great treat. We also saw huge improvement with an antiviral. Did you check for yeast? Makes me wonder if her cravings for Hershey kisses is so strong she can overcome her OCD. Immune activation cravings are stronger than morphine! That is why most kids crave pizza, ice cream and mac n cheese. Hang in there. You are having improvement. Even though when they are not eating it's a race in the long run for most of us this is a journey. We were lucky and eating returned
