LisaH Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 A friend's son has canker sores and gets them fairly often so I mentioned the recent post on here about it and she'd like to try the canker melts. Do you have a site where these can be ordered at? Thanks
Chemar Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Lisa http://www.orahealth.com is the company that makes them
LisaH Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 Thanks Chemar, I went to the site but couldn't find them anywhere. I did say the site was under construction, so maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.
Chemar Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Lisa I have corrected the link this should now get you there http://www.orahealth.com
Claire Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 FYI, Xylitol rinses are also supposed to help prevent/heal cancer sores. Xylitol toothpaste/rinses actually reduce cavities (ask your dentist), so it seems like a great idea anyway. I have heard so much about it being an immune response. It makes sense to me because I used to get them when I ate sugar and they wouldn't go away until I stopped for several days (it was hard to do sometimes). But I don't get them anymore, nor does my son, hallelujah (his were triggered by the metal braces cutting into him). Claire
Chemar Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Claire my son cant go anywhere near xylitol....upsets his system big time for some reason!
Claire Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 Interesting Chemar...and too bad. But at least he can have wheat and sugar! I have a problem with Maltitol (corn derived)... Claire
