NAC- Stomach pain & feeling weird.

She is on 150 mg. NAC.

She is complaining of stomach pain, and feeling very weird. Anyone have this side effect???

Herxheimer. It is die-off. I am pretty sure your kid has a co-infection of lyme or mycoplasma fermentans.

She has been on the 150mg. of NAC for 2 weeks. Do you think it could just start hurting now? She is also on 4000 units vitamin D3. I hope it is not too much. Her vitamin D3 levels were very low though. She was an 11.

Yes, Lyme cycles every 21 days so depending where it is in the cycle. Stuff is brutal. Good luck to you.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry to interrupt but mt DS age 8 complains a lot about feeling weird, pain in the belly/stomach, dizziness and feeling like a bullet is ricocheting in his head. He says this both on and off of abx (no other meds in play). Has anyone else heard these things when not herxing?

My child had all of those symptoms before any meds/sups. She use to see double and get severe migraines. Hasn't had one since treatment with bactrim and dorex.

Thank you Lilly! I made an appointment with a doc. who claims Lyme literacy I hope this will give us some answers. From what you treated with sounds like I may be on the right path. I hope.
